Artisan Dance is Montana's first and only professional ballet company forging Montana's most dynamic new history. Proudly in residence at Carroll College, dancers from around the nation and abroad unite to present high quality productions of classical and contemporary ballet.

Originating in 1995 under the direction of Helena native, Sallyann Mulcahy, Artisan Dance exists as a result of dancer's desires. A small group of dancers that came initially for private study has turned into a friendly network generated by the excitement of the dancers themselves.

Artisan Dance is a refuge for dancers who come for unique coaching and professional training that refines them technically and artistically. As dance has fallen in stride to our fast-paced demanding world, dancers often miss the time, focus and care they need to fulfill their talents and desires. Artisan Dance provides a concentrated experience that is uplifting and healing for the body, mind and spirit of the dedicated dancer.

Artisan Dance is dedicated to the preservation of classical ballet, the development of original work, collaboration with a full spectrum of performing and visual artists and providing quality education for all ages through and about the art of dance.
